Have you had an interest in yoga but felt it was too intimidating?  At NCWW, we care more about people, than poses!  “Gentle yoga” is a form of yoga that is attuned to each participants needs, limitations, and goals. It’s an ideal way to gain the health benefits of yoga, without having to worry about being overwhelming, overstretched, or judged.

Did you know that participating in yoga leads to decreased stress levels and increased calmness, strength, balance, and mobility? This series of four “gentle” yoga classes will help participants decrease their own stress through basic Yoga postures and breathing and meditation techniques.

This new yoga workshop will be semi-private, gentle for the mind and body, attuned to each person’s limitations and needs, and led by expert “gentle yoga” instructor, Dena Kahn, who cares about people more than poses.

Who should attend

  • New or current patients
  • Anyone who is interested in trying yoga
  • No yoga experience is required
