Led by Dr. Robyn Osborn, “From Counting Sheep to Healthy Sleep,” will explore the science of sleep, sleep patterns, and common sleep problems. You will learn numerous strategies for managing and improving sleep.
Weight and sleep are often interrelated. Poor sleep results in numerous hormonal and biological changes that can increase hunger, decrease metabolism, and make weight management more difficult.  Further, excess weight often makes it harder to get a good night’s sleep. Finally, factors that contribute to weight difficulties, such as stress or anxiety, also often contribute to poor sleep. Engaging in behavioral changes that can support a healthier sleep routine is important for weight management and wellness.
