Sarah Kuchinos, M.S., M.A., CPT-ACSM
Sarah Kuchinos is a Movement Specialist at NCWW, and you will likely meet her at one of your initial movement assessments, upon starting at NCWW. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, as well as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is trained in exercise mechanics and physiology, and enjoys working with people of all abilities and experience levels.
Sarah received her Master of Science in Health Promotion as well as a Certificate in Nutrition Education from American University, where she focused on weight management and behavior change in her course of study. Sarah loves the outdoors and being active, and she is a Certified USA Triathlon Coach. She is passionate about supporting others on their weight loss journey by working with patients to talk through activities that they might enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. She loves to encourage anyone considering a big challenge – anything ranging from a 5K to a triathlon – to go for it! She loves helping people work towards their goals, work through their struggles, and celebrate their accomplishments with them.
Sarah also works with Georgetown University as a Coaching Advisor in Georgetown’s Health Coaching Certificate Program. She believes in coaching, rather than directing, patients to engage in a healthier lifestyle. She believes the key is identifying something enjoyable for patients to do that will get them moving and having fun all at once.
