Dr. Marilyn Sperling is a clinical psychologist who received her undergraduate degree at Brown University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Prior to joining our staff more than 20 years ago, she worked as a psychologist at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and was actively involved in group training and supervision of clinical psychology interns. From 1979-1982, she acted as chief psychologist of the Noyes Division of St. Elizabeth’s. Dr. Sperling specializes in treatment of binge eating, coexisting obesity and depression, and women’s issues.
